Crazy!

Been workin lots, lots, lots. Getting ready for a big birhtday bash at the store. I can't wait for my mom to come visit next weekend!!!! We are going to go shopping for my classroom. Woo hoo!

We Celebrated BIG!

National Scrapbook Day at By Design proved a huge hit! We all worked so hard to get "Cruisin' Through National Scrapbook Day" off the ground, and boy did we have a crowd. :) Here are some pictures from the day...

OK, WOW...what a week!

It seems as though the past couple of weeks have been a blur. A blur of planning events, having fun and good news!!!! Last week I found out I was going to be going to CHA this summer. WOOOHOOOOO! CHA , to me, is the happiest place on Earth, forget Disney World...hehe....they don't have endless aisles of paper and embellishments. Heavenly!

So, of course that sent me to cloud 9 and then on top of that I got to meet the Glitz Girls! The 3 of them are the creators of the Glitz line of scrapbooking products, and they came to teach classes at By Design. I was so happy I was working that day ;) The best news...they invited me to be on their design team. If you are unfamiliar with their products you can check them out here. VERY VERY cool stuff! It is always a big hit at the store.

So, needless to say it has been a big week! I hope that some of my girls from BR and New Orleans can come down for the all weekend crop in May. hint hint.

I am so behind on taking photos of layouts from when my computer was sick....I need to get on that tommorrow.

Been Playing

We had a great weekend around here. It was so fun getting to visit with friends from Baton Rouge!!! 2 weekends in a row...I've gone to Heaven.

We went shopping, visited Candylicious and the Chocloate Bar, Ikea, The Beer Can House (house a man in the 70s began decorating with beer cans and bottles---very cool), ate some good Mexican, went dancing.....we were very busy!

I have been playing with some of the new goodies we receivied at the store. This is one using new Prima papers and other fun goodies.

Man, it's been so long!

It has been a long while since I posted. I have been busy visiting a friend of mine in GA and getting to see her 4 cute little ones. We did of course get in some scrappin' in between. Then, much to my surprise last week. Some scrapbook friends (Jamie, Sarah, Angie, and Jackie) came to visit the store and I got to hang out with them over a yummy dinner as well. Of course I forgot to take pics. I haven't really enjoyed taking pics lately of myself. Mainly because I am not liking what I am seeing and I need to get my butt in gear and over to weight watchers. Anyhow, I have been working a TON, mainly at the most incredible store ever!!! We are busting at the seams with new stuff and my checkbook is feeling it majorly!!! I do have a few pics of some pages I have recently done and I have a lot more I need to get up here. I'll do what I can ;) Heading to BR on Thurs. night for some family fun and crawfish time. YES!!!! Can't wait. I need to go get owen an easter hat of some sorts for an Easter photo shoot. Besides, I always enjoy making my mom laugh at his get ups. Here are some recent pics...

Make N Take fun

Wow! The shop hop here in the Houston area will be going on for the next 2 weeks and I have been working lots on make-n-takes and kits and such. The Bling kit was actually put together by my friend Michelle Sanders ( who does some awesome work). I just made it into a 12x12 page. She picked some rockin' stuff out! Then, I made the second "Delight" layout from Luxe and a bunch of Heidi products. We had a lot of people do the MNT today and it was fun to meet lots of scrappers.

I am so wanting a scrap weekend! I miss having Nat scrappin next to me. Maybe she will come visit soon (*hint*hint*)

Rob and I are getting ready to go to this place called the Star Cinema Grill. It is a movie theatre/restaurant. You can eat while you watch the movie. How cool is that! We were supposed to go for Valentine's Day but had to post pone. So I am soooooo excited because that is just too cool! Anyway, have a great weekend!

I've been a busy girl...

I have been scrapbooking alot lately, trying to get my classes done and up at the store. I need a scrapbok getaway or weekend retreat so I can bring all these pages and put them into albums. I've got quite a collection going and ever since reading Ali Edwards' blog I am inspired to do so.

On another note, I am thrilled to be going to visit a good freind of mine in Atlanta next weekend to plan some classes there and visit with her and get to meet her new baby boy! I can't wait!!!!
