Really cool project!

I have been working so hard to get this project done for my upcoming class at By Design Scrapbook Boutique. This thing rocks. I tried to pack TONS of techniques in this thing. I had a blast! The spinner reminds me of a project I always wanted to try in the Donna Downey Home Decor book. I will try to take more pics (this one is from Tracy).

Crawfish Etouffee?

Ok! The funniest thing happened today. I went to the Fish Place restaurant next door to the store and ordered crawfish etoufee for lunch. (I was wanting something hot on the first cold day we've had!!!!) So I get back to the store, open up the container and what is there but CRAWFISH SOUP! haha! It was literally like chicken soup with some veggies and crawfish in it. It was hysterical. It was then that I knew that its better to save some good eats for when I visit Louisiana.

I'm coming home!!!

I cannot wait to see everybody in Baton Rouge! I told Rob that it was going to be a crazy trip because we had so many people to visit and catch up with. So I'm busy packing and doing laundry and getting down right giddy at the thought of seeing everybody!!!

Scrapbookin' Fool

Crazy for Christmas (and Love, Elsie products...hehe!)

This little album has been so much fun to make!!! The great girls over at KI Memories were gracious enough to get me some of the Noel Love, Elsie line so that the book could be ready to go before my class on November 8th at By Design Scrapbook Boutique. Here is a sneak peek for you. I hope to see you there. :)

Fun stuff!

Rob and I had an awesome little weekend getaway this weekend. We visited the Kemah boardwalk. We had never been, so it was fun to explore together and we had a good time even though I could not get that boy to ride any rides!

Upcoming Class

I will be at By Design Scrapbook Boutique next weekend for their Scrap Pink celebration! This layout was inspired by the "She" book and includes the delicious new prodcuts from GLITZ. Call to sign up today for the class from 10-12pm or the crop from 12pm-midnight. I hope to see you there!

Just some recent creations...

Just some Design Team work for By Design Scrapbook Boutique . Some of the photos came out kinda yucky, sorry! i figured I get these posted while I was home sick with a monster cold. Being around all these kids all the time has definetly taken a toll. I need to build up my immune system!

Because I'm craving some SUSHI...

And missing my sushi partners.... Ahhh

So for tonight, I will have to just settle for reminiscing about crunchy and snow crab rolls.

I am so missing you two!

Another Monday

The end of last week brought bad news. I had a second interview for a third grade position in Tomball ISD that went great!!! Unfortunatly, I was crushed to find out that an applicant with more experience got the position. I was very excited about the sheer fact that the principa;l gave me the chance to interview. So many won't consider alternatively certified applicants. Thankfully, Rob was here this weekend cheering me up, including bringing me gladiolas. (Which always makes me happy.)

So I am back on the search! I just know that the right position is waiting for me.

Subbed today for second graders and had a great time! Although, I am almost to the point of giving in and wearing orthopedic shoes if my feet don't stop KILLING ME! hehe.

Can't wait to work on my class for By Design Scrapbook Boutique tonight. I want to get it to the store this week. Off to scrap!
